- Came to me and together walk fast but not run to the nearest exit
- If is smoke we will crawl to the exit
- Practice the stop drop and roll drill
- To be prepare for an earthquake we practice once a month to recognize the safety points (under the sturdy table or interior door frame and cover the head)
- Wait three minutes after the earthquake for aftershocks
- Stay calm
- Calm go outside
- We will prepare an emergency kit, for each child we need that the parents bring a bag containing: an extra blanket (emergency blanket) a toy, a picture of the family and his or her favourite treat
- Each year the parents need to provide the items for the emergency kit.
- We will listen to the radio to find out where it is safe to go
- We will have an emergency container containing the kits for each child, non perishable food, water, first Aid, flashlight, batteries, a radio and the emergency contacts.
- The emergency container will be accessible and located in the deck.
